BBC Films follow closely on the coat tails of Hollywood with their own Medieval drama but at least stay away from the plague - instead steering headlong into Viking mythology.

Set in 1,000 AD, a one-eyed mute warrior escapes his Norse prison and flees on a Viking vessel bound for a new world and a bloody end.
